Jason and I met 25 years ago outside Acadia National Park, working in the restaurant world. What began as a shared passion for hospitality and a love for the outdoors, formed a partnership rooted in adventure, curiosity, and an appreciation for life’s finer tastes.

We set out working seasonally in restaurants which took us from Maine to Florida, St. John, USVI and North Carolina. Immersed in the world of culinary arts, we refined our expertise in wine, spirits and hospitality. Along the way, we discovered a mutual love for exploring spirits. Fine tequila often became our drink of choice as we came to appreciate the versatility, and complexities that reflect their origin.

After years in restaurants, managing, bar tending and serving, we transitioned into new roles-Jason overseeing the adult beverage division for large retailers while I focused on interior design and home restoration: at the same time embracing the adventure of parenthood with our dynamic teenaged son. These experiences deepened our appreciation for craftsmanship, quality and the importance of a well crafted product.

With almost 40 years of combined industry experience, we set out to have a tequila distilled that reflects our love for a clean, smooth, still-strength spirits, perfect for sipping. To make this happen we’ve teamed up with an incredible, family-owned boutique distillery that grows agave organically, uses traditional methods and are truly masters of their craft. Together, we’ve honed exceptional, high proof tequilas we’re confidant you’ll enjoy as much as we do. Named to reflect our connection to the seasons and the natural cycles of life, CiCLOS embodies our belief in savoring authentic moments and celebrating life’s complex flavors.
